One of the things I'm doing to claw my way out of this depression is to remember and hold on to the simple things I love.

Wheels within wheels, but we can only see a small piece of it at a time.

One week since I held her all night, holding her head high so she could breath. One week...and I'm still here. Still going, laughing, crying...living. She's still with me, though.

I  can't tell if this period of mourning is getting easier or harder. Time will tell, and time will heal, but time also took her away from me. But I had a lot of time with her too. For that I am ever grateful.
